Press release of PCSC 3Q26 financial results

Driven by the collective efforts of Taiwan 7-ELEVEN and its subsidiaries—including Philippine 7-ELEVEN, President Drugstore (Cosmed), Uni-Wonder (Taiwan Starbucks), and Mech-President (Smile Gas Station)—President Chain Store Corporation (PCSC) recorded consolidated revenue of NT$275.88 billion for the first nine months of 2026, representing a 5.72% year-on-year growth. In terms of profitability, net income attributable to the parent company reached NT$9.29 billion, with earnings per share (EPS) of NT$8.94. Both consolidated revenue and EPS achieved historic highs for the same period.

Taiwan 7-ELEVEN continued to implement its lifestyle services strategy centered on the three pillars of innovation, operational excellence, and integration. By concurrently advancing store count and quality, developing a high-caliber lifestyle services platform, enhancing its digital presence, and promoting a sustainable value chain, the company drove steady overall operational growth. In the third quarter of 2026, Taiwan 7-ELEVEN continued expanding into emerging commercial zones while filling gaps in commercial service coverage. Diversified service touchpoints across Taiwan, including physical stores and Smart vending machines, reached 8,324 locations, while local shopping plaza operations expanded to 69 sites, establishing Taiwan’s most extensive lifestyle services network. To address diverse customer demands, 7-ELEVEN developed composite store formats tailored to specific commercial zone dynamics. Beyond driving new growth curves through specialized composite zones—such as fresh fruits and vegetables, automated smoothie stations, IP themed corners, OPEN! FUNLAND, BEAMS DESIGN, LOFT SELECT, and DAISO—the company also partnered with Group brands including Cosmed, Taiwan Starbucks, and 21PLUS to open co-located stores. This cross-brand resource integration extended customer dwell time and enhanced store experiences. Furthermore, Taiwan 7-ELEVEN actively captured opportunities around summer vacations, hot weather relief, 7-ELEVEN DAY, the Ghost Festival, Qixi Valentine's Day, Father's Day, the back-to-school season, and the Mid-Autumn Festival by developing cross-category differentiated merchandise and linking these initiatives with the uniopen member ecosystem to execute online-to-offline campaigns, further strengthening store operational efficiency.

Taiwan 7-ELEVEN continued to build a premier lifestyle platform, developing private-label fresh food to fulfill its role as a "community kitchen." By sourcing premium ingredients and developing healthier offerings, the brand addressed rising customer demand for high quality, superior value, high protein, and whole foods through lines such as Star-rated Feast, ohlala pasta, Veggie Selection, hearty meal series, Simple Fit, LaDears, and self-service hot food zones equipped with proprietary steaming units offering steamed corn and varied egg products. Simultaneously, Taiwan 7-ELEVEN pioneered the convenience retail industry's first "AI Gourmet Passport," leveraging data intelligence to create personalized dining recommendation mechanisms that seamlessly satisfy the immediate, varied dining preferences of customers across all age groups. The CITY brand portfolio also demonstrated sustained growth momentum: CITY CAFE and CITY PRIMA deepened market penetration through consistent quality, cross-industry collaborations, and buzzworthy new products, while CITY TEA and !+? CAFE RESERVE & Tea Bar forged a second growth curve by satisfying diverse beverage demands with seasonal menu updates, award-winning tea leaves, IP-themed cups, and late-night tea-drinking experiences. Storewide point-redemption programs and seasonal display shelves continued collaborating with prominent domestic and international IPs, catering to younger demographics by featuring themed seasonal food and beverage selections alongside diverse lifestyle merchandise to continuously drive customer visit frequency and engagement.

In terms of digital expansion, Taiwan 7-ELEVEN leveraged the uniopen member ecosystem to link over 7,300 stores with comprehensive online and offline sales channels—including iPre-order, iGroup-buying, OPEN NOW, and OPENPOINT Mobile Pickup Service—maximizing digital economic returns. Grounded in the three core strategies of the "OPENPOINT APP," "Points," and "Payments," the uniopen member ecosystem established an expansive OPENPOINT point network connecting over 500 renowned brands and nearly 700,000 affiliated merchants. This drove growth in both member scale and loyalty, pushing total membership beyond 20 million. Furthermore, driven by membership subscription programs linked to the promotion of the uniopen co-branded card, total points issued during the first nine months exceeded the full-year volume of the previous year, more than doubling year on year to hit a record high. Recently, the platform expanded into household services by integrating President Information Corporation's new "i-Home" function into the OPENPOINT APP, connecting customers' everyday routines across a broad portfolio of brands. Simultaneously, Taiwan 7-ELEVEN continued expanding cross-border e-commerce, parcel pickup services, and the iOPEN Mall platform, while iBon stations actively captured the ticketing services market across pop-up events, cultural exhibitions, concerts, and sports matches to drive store traffic and commercial opportunities.

Taiwan 7-ELEVEN consistently advanced its sustainable value chain. In alignment with the Ministry of Environment's resource circulation regulations, PCSC proactively established a circular economy spanning product design, manufacturing, usage, and recycling, collaborating with supply chain partners to reintegrate end-of-life products back into the supply chain for re-circulation. Through the annual Asia-Pacific Sustainability Expo, the company showcased practical implementations of energy conservation, waste reduction, and sustainable production and marketing by bringing aquaponics, upcycled coffee grounds, and rPET circular packaging to exhibition booths for interactive customer engagement. In collaboration with supply chain partners, Taiwan 7-ELEVEN reformulated over a hundred private-label fresh food items toward reduced fat, sugar, and sodium, with multiple products receiving Clean Label certification from the international third-party organization Anti-Additive Association. The brand also proactively labeled protein content, Muslim-friendly dietary information, and vegetarian/vegan credentials, while securing Eatender senior-friendly food certifications to continuously elevate product transparency and facilitate customer purchasing decisions.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, PCSC will continue deepening the uniopen member ecosystem, strengthening omnichannel sales momentum, and prioritizing the development of core categories including fresh food, desserts, the CITY series, IP merchandise, beverages, and snacks. Capitalizing on the autumn-winter transition and seasonal festivities such as National Day, Halloween, Christmas, and New Year's Eve, the company will introduce highly discussed, differentiated offerings to stimulate customer purchase intent and foot traffic. Concurrently, Taiwan 7-ELEVEN will continue deploying AI technologies and labor-saving tools to optimize operational efficiency and customer service experiences, while fortifying competitive advantages through talent development and organizational enhancement to drive steady operational growth and construct a lifestyle service platform that exceeds customer expectations.
