PCSC fulfills its corporate social responsibility by fully utilizing corporate resources in every corner of the community. In 1999, we donated to establish the ' PCSC Good Neighbor Foundation.' The foundation has been devoted to improving community life and preserving local culture.
In 2025, we joined forces with esteemed government agencies and non-profit organizations—including the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF),
the Society of Wilderness, the Foundation of Nature Conservation and Environmental Information, the Agriculture and Food Agency, and the
Nantou Branch of the Soil and Water Conservation Agency.
Together with Kang Hsuan Educational Publishing and 5% Design Action, we integrated essential sustainability topics—such as energy
conservation, food waste reduction, carbon reduction, and biodiversity—into our "Good Neighbor Happy Gathering" DIY picture book materials.
By transforming complex concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand content, we empower teachers and students to become champions of
sustainability education. This initiative not only fosters cross-sector resource integration but also promotes the preservation and vibrant
development of local culture.

In supporting the government's promotion of humanistic thoughts to encourage reading, PCSC has implemented the "Reading Incentive Program" in rural primary schools. By utilizing a "points-for-rewards" system, we encourage children to cultivate long-term reading habits. This year, we supported 119 elementary schools, reaching a total of 180,000 books read. Furthermore, we have integrated environmental sustainability with arts and culture through a partnership with Cheng Loong Corp., a global top-100 paper company. Together, we established "Good Neighbor Paper Libraries" using 100% sustainable materials repurposed from recycled 7-ELEVEN cardboard boxes. These libraries provide aesthetically pleasing and functional eco-friendly bookshelves and furniture, effectively promoting a circular economy. To date, this initiative has utilized over 10 tons of recycled paper and reduced 58 tons of carbon emissions. In our ongoing commitment to local arts, we have partnered with the renowned If Kids Theatre for the second consecutive year. During the three major "Sustainable Good Neighbor Funfests" in 2025, we collaborated on podcasts to bring picture book stories to life. This project provides diverse reading companionship for schools and families, helping to root local culture in the hearts of the next generation. |

Deepening Sustainability Communication Through Physical Exhibitions We continue to deepen sustainability communication through physical exhibitions and curated events. In March, to coincide with Earth Hour, we launched a two-week "Lights-Off Touring Event" simultaneously across Northern, Central, and Southern Taiwan. By inviting consumers to join the energy-saving movement, we achieved nearly 10,000 interactive light-off engagements, showcasing the power of public participation. In July, we participated in the "Better Tomorrow" sustainable exhibition hosted by the United Daily News. Under the theme "Sustainable Good Neighbor Funfest," we showcased our collection of palm picture books and multilingual picture books. The event attracted approximately 20,000 visitors, while our integrated OMO (Online-Merge-Offline) communication reached a total of 12 million people. In September, at the Asia-Pacific Sustainability Expo hosted by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE), we collaborated with our affiliated brands—7-ELEVEN, Starbucks, President Transnet , and President Information Corp. Together, we created the largest corporate sustainability pavilion at the expo. With the theme "7-ELEVEN Green Energy Operations," we utilized immersive displays to demonstrate how our retail channels work with the supply chain to practice a low-carbon lifestyle. The three-day exhibition attracted over 50,000 visitors and achieved 92.74 million online impressions. Our efforts were recognized with two prestigious awards: the "APSAA Exhibition Award - Platinum" and the "Excellence in Sustainable Guiding Award."
